Helping Women Loosen Their Grip on Money, While Still Feeling Secure.

You’ve done everything right. You save, you plan, you think ahead. You’ve built the stability everyone says you’re supposed to want.

Financial Coach

Does this sound familiar?

  • You’re the “sensible one”, who always has savings, but you never feel like you have enough.
  • You hesitate before spending, even on things that genuinely matter to you.
  • You’ve narrowed your life to what feels “necessary”, and everything else feels reckless.

You don’t have a spending problem. You have a safety threshold that keeps quietly moving. No matter how much you save, “enough” is always just out of reach. And meanwhile, all that caution means you’re not actually living the life you’ve worked so hard to secure.

I work with women who look fine on paper, but feel constantly braced; watching life happen around them, whilst they wait for permission to join in.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • The habits that once protected you, but now limit you.
  • The invisible line between prudence and self-denial.
  • What “enough” actually looks like for you, right now.

So you can:

  • Spend on what truly matters without internal resistance.
  • Make decisions without needing absolute certainty.
  • Build a life that feels full, not just financially sound.

This isn’t about spending for the sake of it.

It’s about recognising where caution has turned into deprivation, and creating security that actually lets you enjoy your life.

Client words are shared with care and permission, and reflect my earlier work as a Chartered Financial Planner. Today, I work as a Financial Coach, drawing on the same values of trust, clarity, and thoughtfulness, without providing financial advice.

Hi I’m Jess, founder of Flourish Financial Coaching

I’m a financial coach who works with women who’ve built security, but can’t seem to enjoy it.

With 10 years’ experience as a Chartered Financial Planner, I’ve watched capable, sensible women make themselves smaller around money; saying no to things they could afford, feeling guilty about purchases that genuinely mattered, keeping everything in cash because it felt “safer”, even when it wasn’t serving them.

Here’s what I’ve learned: the technical side; investing, planning, understanding the numbers, isn’t what holds women back. I can teach you all of that.

It’s the emotional work underneath. The beliefs about what’s “safe”. The guilt that shows up when you spend on yourself. The moving target of “enough”.

My coaching helps you understand what’s driving the grip so you can build the kind of security that actually lets you live, not just survive.

Because having money in the bank means nothing, if you’re still too scared to use it.

Our Values

Clarity through Self-Awareness

You can’t change a belief you haven’t examined. Self-awareness is what gives you the chance to look at it properly, and decide whether it still belongs to you.

Independence without Deprivation

Financial independence shouldn’t require constant self-denial. Real independence gives you choices and security without making your life smaller in the process.

Balance, not Extremes

Financial responsibility doesn’t mean choosing between reckless spending and total restriction. You can be thoughtful with money and enjoy your life; they’re not opposing forces.

Emotional Resilience

Old habits don’t disappear overnight. That tightness in your chest, the fear of losing your safety net. I help you navigate these moments as they surface, rather than let them take control.
