What is Financial Coaching?

Financial coaching helps you understand your relationship with money; the thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours that shape how you earn, save, spend and invest.

Unlike financial advice, which tells you what products to buy, coaching focuses on you. Exploring what drives your decisions, uncovering patterns that might be holding you back, and building the confidence to make choices that align with what you actually want.

Initial Clarity Session

This is where the real work begins. We’ll explore your relationship with money; where you are now, where you want to be, and what you’d like to change. You’ll leave with clarity on your patterns and a tailored proposal within 7 days.

If the Clarity Session feels right and you’re ready to commit to making real changes, this is where our proper work together begins. A personalised coaching relationship built entirely around you, your money story, and the life you want to build.

Financial coaching provides a space for us to explore your relationship with money, not just what you do with it, but why.

Together, we look at the thoughts, beliefs and patterns underneath your financial decisions. You set the direction; I ask the questions that help you see things more clearly and provide the knowledge you need to make confident decisions.

Financial advice involves recommending specific products like pensions or investments, and it’s regulated by the FCA. Coaching is different, we don’t give product recommendations or manage your money. Instead, we explore what’s driving your financial decisions, build awareness around your spending and saving patterns, while also demystifying financial concepts like investing and tax.

This work is for women who’ve done everything “right” with money but still can’t relax about spending.

You might be a good fit if:

  • Enough” is always just out of reach, no matter how much you save

Initial session: We start by exploring your relationship with money; what’s working, what’s not, and what you’d like to change. I’ll ask questions to help you understand what’s driving your decisions and where the patterns might be holding you back.

Ongoing sessions: Each session builds on the last. We might explore why certain purchases trigger guilt, what “enough” actually means for you, or where the line between prudence and restriction lies. As we work through the emotional side, we’ll also tackle practical topics like understanding investments, tax, and how to use your money more intentionally.

Sessions are conversational, not prescriptive. I’m not here to tell you what to do; I’m here to help you work out what feels right for you.
